Sandusky County Chamber Candidate Forum

Join the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee for a Candidate Forum ahead of the November general election.

This event provides an opportunity for members of the business community and the public to hear directly from candidates about their background, priorities, and vision for Sandusky County, our region, and Ohio.

Races to be featured include:

• Governor & Lieutenant Governor
• U.S. Senate
• U.S. Congress – 5th District
• Ohio State Representative – District 88
• Sandusky County Commissioner
• Sandusky County Auditor
• Sandusky County Common Pleas Court – General Division
• Sandusky County Common Pleas Court – Probate/Juvenile Division

Candidates in contested races will have the opportunity to deliver an opening statement, answer moderated questions, and provide a closing statement. Additional candidates participating in the forum will be provided time to introduce themselves and speak about their priorities for office.

Attendees are encouraged to register in advance. While registration is not required, it helps us plan accordingly. When registering, attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for candidates to be considered during the forum. Questions may also be submitted during the event and will be reviewed by the Legislative Committee and moderator.
