Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce Celebrates
Grand Opening of Jersey Mikes with Ribbon Cutting

The Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, May 28 at 9:00 AM to celebrate the grand opening of Jersey Mike’s Subs, located at 2200 Sean Drive, Suite 12.2D, Fremont, OH 43420.

This event will mark the official welcome of Jersey Mike’s to the Fremont community. Following the ribbon cutting, guests will be invited inside the restaurant for a preview of the new space and to sample a variety of fresh subs ahead of the store’s public opening.

Jersey Mike’s, established in 1956, is known for its high-quality ingredients, authentic sub sandwiches, and community-focused mission. The brand stands out for its unique “Mike’s Way” preparation method and a menu that includes customer favorites like the #13 The Original Italian.

The Fremont location is led by the Sample family along with VP of Operations Travis Mason, Director of Operations Ryan Foster, and General Manager Rachel Perry. The team expects to hire between 20 and 25 local residents as part of their staffing plan.

As part of the grand opening campaign, Jersey Mike’s will be partnering with Fremont City Schools during the first five days of business. All donations collected during this period will be donated directly to the district, reinforcing the company’s commitment to giving back.

The Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend and help celebrate the addition of this fresh, fast-casual dining option to the local business community.
