Chamber of Commerce to Host Ribbon Cutting at Auxter-Recker Funeral Homes in Clyde

The Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday,  June 1 at 2:00 PM to celebrate the opening of Auxter-Recker Funeral Homes, located at 218 S. Main Street, Clyde, Ohio.

The event will follow an Informational Preplanning Seminar beginning at 1:00 PM and kick off an Open House that runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Guests will enjoy light refreshments, door prizes, raffles, and a complimentary ice cream treat from Toft Dairy.

Auxter-Recker Funeral Homes is the result of Jim and Lisa Recker’s recent purchase of Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde and Auxter Funeral Home in Bellevue, following the retirement of Dean and Melinda Auxter. With more than 25 years of experience in the funeral industry, the Reckers bring compassionate, professional care to every family they serve. Jim Recker is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, while Lisa Recker is a Licensed Funeral Director and Certified Preplanning Consultant.

The funeral homes offer traditional funeral and cremation services, as well as advance funeral preplanning options. They also assist families with designing and purchasing grave monuments.
