    Job Description
    Position Title:                       Seasonal Employment Trainer - Summer Youth Program
     
    Supervisor:                           Individualized Employment Support Coordinator
     
    Normal Work Hours:          Approximately 4-5 weeks of seasonal summer employment.  Day Shift, up to 24 hours a week.
     
    Employment Status:           Non-exempt
     
    Qualifications:    
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Previous experience in teaching or coaching strongly preferred.
    • Operation of computer, phone, and office equipment.
    • Must be able to handle confidential information with complete discretion.
    • Must maintain Ohio Driver’s License.
    • Ability to travel to various work locations in your own vehicle.
     
    Conditional Employee Requirements:
    • All applicants must maintain an Ohio Driver’s license. Provide proof of valid automobile insurance.
    • Bureau of Criminal Investigation check must result in no felony record.
    • Physical exam must result in being able to perform the essential functions of the position.
    • Drug screening must result in no substance abuse.
                                                                                                   
    Description of Duties:
    This position will be responsible for providing on-site job coaching in community settings to individuals with developmental and other disabilities. 
                                                               
                                                    This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Provide on-site job coaching to students who have various disabilities.
    • Supervise students in community work settings, ensure safety, conduct observational assessments, and provide unique coaching instruction.
    • May be required to transport individuals to and from job sites as needed.
    • Responsible for maintaining detailed daily documentation that reports individual’s abilities, strengths, interests, and limitations.
    • Maintain individual’s employment records, files, and monthly billing.
    • Act as a liaison between the individuals served, family and employer.
    • Attend all staff meetings and trainings.
    • Other related duties as assigned.
     
    Essential Functions of the Position:
    • Operation of computer, phone, and office equipment for business/service.
    • Able to perform related work training skills.
    • Communications Skills.
    • Drives vehicle.
    • Basic writing and documentation skills.
