Position Overview:
You will be responsible for investigating/assessing complaints of abuse, neglect and/or dependency, as well as providing initial counseling and supportive services to abused, neglected and/or dependent children and their families. You will work closely with outside agencies and be a part of building strong community partners. You should be able to assess safety and present fresh ideas to unique situations that arise. You must be able to ensure child safety, permanency, and the well-being of families. You must be highly adaptable to change, meet multiple deadlines and want to make a difference in the lives of children and families in Sandusky County.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have associates degree in human services related field. Will be required to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or closely related area within 5 years of taking the position. You must be able to pass a criminal background check, employment verification, and reference check. You must have a clean driving record and a valid Driver’s License.
