DESCRIPTION:Join us for our upcoming Safety Council meeting. These monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month at the Neeley Center from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Just a friendly reminder\, members of the safety council are required to attend a minimum of 10 meetings during the fiscal year 2024 to qualify for a rebate on their workers' compensation premium. \n\n\n\nTopic of this meeting: \n\nOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) update.  Learn more about what's new with OSHA and which programs they are currently concentrating on.\n\n\n\nSpeaker: \n\nTodd Jensen\, OSHA Area Director for the Toledo Area office\n\n\n\nTodd was a compliance officer for 25 years working out of the Cincinnati\, Toledo\, and Cleveland Area offices\, specializing in foundries\, steel mills\, refineries\, and chemical manufacturing. He is currently the Area Director for the Toledo Area office with the responsibility of overseeing a health and safety staff of 17 and the compliance of employers in 26 counties of northwest Ohio.
