DESCRIPTION:On May 13\, 2021\, the CDC revised its guidance and indicated that fully-vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks or socially distance. On May 17\, 2021\, the Ohio Department of Health issued an amended public health order essentially adopting the CDC guidance. On June 2\, 2021\, the majority of existing Ohio public health orders regarding COVID-19 will be lifted. OSHA has been working on an emergency temporary COVID-19 standard but when\, or if\, that standard is released is yet to be determined. This presentation will address the impact of recent changes and uncertainties as businesses continue to navigate legal and practical return-to-work issues.\n\n\n\nJim Yates is a Member of Eastman & Smith Ltd.'s Labor and Employment practice group and a SHRM Certified Senior Professional who has represented employers in labor and employment matters for over 25 years.
