We are accepting nominations for our annual
awards to be presented at the Annual Awards Dinner on January
31, 2008. The deadline for nominations is Friday, January 4,
2008. However, we have only received a couple nominations to
date. We will be awarding the Citizen of the Year, Clark
Ambassador, Distinguished Service, and the Athena
awards. Attached you will find the nomination form. Please take
a minute or two to nominate someone you know who is deserving of
one or more of these awards and return to the Chamber office
located at 101 S. Front St., Fremont or fax to 419-332-8666.
- The
Athena Award
is given to an individual who is recognized not only for
professional achievement and community service, but also for
actively and generously assisting women in the attainment of
professional excellence and leadership skills.
- The
Citizen of the
Year Award is
given to an individual whose services have benefited this
community or area by his/her devotion to the general welfare
of the citizenry, exclusive and beyond his/her profession.
- The
Clark
Ambassador Award
recipient must be a Chamber member, either as an individual
or an organization, which has supported the Mission, Vision
and Values of the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County
with their time, talents and dedication.
- The
Distinguished
Service Award is
given to an individual, who, in the day-to-day practice of
their profession or vocation, has served the community well,
with special consideration to service over and above what
other practitioners of the same profession of vocation would
normally have done.
